FCAT Transition
The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) is transitioning from the FCAT to the FCAT 2.0 to align with new academic standards. The new FCAT 2.0 tests utilize a different score scale than the previous versions. However, the new scale was equated to the older scale to allow scores to be compared, and student growth scores to be calculated. In this year's score report, students' previous FCAT scores used for growth will be reported using the new scale and will therefore be different than the scores reported last year.
